We went wine tasting in Tuscany Italy

Aroma is soft overall, with a resiny and spicy complexity that’s incredible unique. Minty, gin-like and a bit medicinal; slightly fruity, with some spicy rye and a bready background that turns yeasty and doughy as the beer warms. Incredibly smooth and creamy, nearly full-bodied and a bit viscous. More body than the appearance leads you to believe. The maltiness comes across first, with a distinct toasty character, followed by bread crusts and a thin honey-like sweetness.

Topped with a very healthy, thick, slightly off-white foam head, the beers lacing is tight and creamy, sticking to the glass and retaining very well.

The final hop impact on aroma was surprisingly subtle, and incredibly pleasing, with a delicate citrus floral and fruity perfume that played with the nose. Flavor-wise, the beer is extremely smooth and creamy on the palate with an even and full body. As the hops hit the taste buds, it runs a bit coarse, with hop tannins, floral, citric, slight aspirin, mild spiciness, and a soft twang of rind that sticks to the palate and hangs in there for quite a while.
